We've Partnered with 1% for the Planet!

WE ARE GIVING BACK 1% OF OUR SALES.

At Cabine, we are doing our part to help save the planet. As members of 1% for the Planet, we've committed to donating 1% of ALL revenue to vetted nonprofits in a effort to address the interrelated issues of climate change, healthy food systems, environmental toxins, water resources, pollutions, land management and wildlife diversity.

Currently, only 3% of philanthropic giving in the U.S. goes to environmental causes and only 3% of this giving comes from the business community. On top of that, government funding for the environment is variable even in the best of times. We believe the global community has a responsibility and opportunity to step up for the planet and drive positive change.

1% for the Planet brings dollars and doers together to accelerate smart environmental giving. It’s a global movement inspiring businesses and individuals to support environmental solutions through annual membership and everyday actions — advising on giving strategies, certifying donations, and amplifying the impact of member organizations.

Joining 1% for the Planet, and committing 1% of every dollar received, is one more step towards the commitment we made from day one to support our community and environmental causes.

1% for the Planet was founded in 2002 by Yvon Chouinard, the founder of Patagonia, and Craig Mathews, the founder of Blue Ribbon Flies. As successful entrepreneurs, they recognized the power of collective action to help fund diverse environmental organizations so that together they could become more powerful sources in solving the worlds problems. To date, the 1% For The Planet network has given more than $225 million back to environmental nonprofits.
